Beats Academy is a program from Beats by Dre that mentors the next generation of creators shaping the intersection of music, tech, and style.

I worked with US Olympian Jordan Chiles and the Beats Customs team to design and create custom headphones for Jordan. I was given full freedom to capture Jordan’s essence, her brand and what she stands for.

Through a single meeting, I translated my impression of the gymnast into multiple design directions. I explored how flat graphics would behave on a 3D product while considering color, materials, and finishes. I delivered three final designs with renders, along with packaging and a notecard for her selected version.
